I first came to Lamorinda Pediatrics as a parent. When my wife and I had our first child, I knew this was the practice I wanted for our kids because I knew I could trust every one of the doctors here with my children. Every time we came for a visit, I knew my kids were in good hands, and that we had found a special place for our kids. The nurses and doctors were always friendly and caring and understanding, like they knew all the trials and tribulations we were going through as parents.
I grew up in Palo Alto, and went to Stanford University, where I met my wife in an a cappella group (#NerdNation!). We ended up moving cross-country to attend medical school together at Columbia University in New York City (The big city! Snow! Subways!) before we reversed course back to California for residency (The Bay Area! Sunshine! Traffic!). I spent the first five years of my career as a pediatric hospitalist. A pediatric hospitalist is a pediatrician who works exclusively in the hospital with newborns, hospitalized children, and sick kids in the emergency room. I loved that job, but it meant a lot of nights away from home, and that became harder and harder as our kids grew older. I made the leap to Lamorinda Pediatrics in 2014, and have been thrilled with that decision ever since! I feel lucky to work with such a great patient population and their caring families. Every day, I do my best to uphold the traditions that first brought me through the doors as a parent.
I live in Moraga with my wife and two boys, as well as our dog Ranger. In my free time, I enjoy running, playing chess, and time with my family. I am also an avid fan of the Warriors and 49ers.
